I write here as Wenri JUSHI. This is a notebook for things I build, run, break, and eventually understand.
What I write about
Most posts begin with a practical problem: getting a reproducible system onto an awkward machine, keeping an old computer useful, or making a remote deployment recoverable when something goes wrong. The details tend to involve Nix, operating systems, networking, and self-hosted services.
I like understanding why a fix works and recording the failures that led to it. A useful explanation should leave enough detail for someone else to try it, question it, or improve it.
Free software
Being able to inspect, change, and share software matters to me. Running a service yourself is one way to learn how it works; documenting what you find makes that effort useful beyond a single machine.
The blog is where those notes live.
